Aku kebosanan..smalam petang aku bawak kamera ke luar rumah, duduk di tepi jalan..dan tunggu...tunggu...tunggu untuk kete lalu...nak try buat panning shot..

Punye lah lama tunggu, tapi yang lalu budak dgn basikal, dan makcik bwk anak jalan2, 2 subjek yang klu buat panning pon, tak ummpph...

abes nyamuk geget, feasting on my bare arms and ankles...
frustrated, i went back in..mebe its the holidays, sebab tu tk bnyk kete lalu kot...

Pagi tadi got a message from Toyek, apparently ade drifting event going on kat Stadium Shah Alam..

*kaching2!!!*..opportunity!!!! even though the clock wat showing it was high noon, matahari terik tak hengat, i still wanted to go!! biarlah klu terbako sket kulit, bile lagi nak jadi hitam (I putih if u tak tau)..miahahahhaa

Went for a shooting session with Eton and Kong..Toyek followed on suit slightly later...it was my first attempt doing panning, so the first few were either overexposed, or underexposed, or just rubbish...took me a while to get the settings straight..with the high heat and the smell of burnt rubber, rili started to get on my nerves when pictures din come out right..

anyhoo, here are some of the pics taken, unedited as ive just gotten them in the comp, mebe later tunite ill put em thru photoshop..

Its nice having hungry happy people over, people who uve not seen for a while..and have them leave at the end of the day full, and happier than when they came..hopefully..huhu

Today had a slight makan2 jamuan thing, a sort of meet up among friends..instead of the usual mamak where we would get together and have a chat, the venue this time would be my humble home, where I would try my best to dine them, and make catch up on watever things i can..

Ade yang makin kurus sebab intern, ade yang dah rambut start panjang, ade yang nak mule buat rambut jambul..ngahahaha...
yeah, blame it on the mamak for salah potong all u want, but still look like hero hindustan laa!! miahahahaha!!

Another entry for the hols..happy CNY Malaysia

Senang betul nak kemana2 due tige ari nih, cukup senang.
Jalan yang kebiasaannya padat dgn kenderaan kesana kesini....kosong...

well, not fully kosong, but I can say that i was cruising to work yesterday, instead of the usual crawl...arrived at work 10 mins earlier, walaupon kluar rumah lambat..

aih, if everyday was like this...id get better sleep, and id save more on fuel..definitely..

The advantage of having the roads so clear is that ley jalan2 tmpt2 u usually dont go to, just to know the roads..arent many cars, so takdelah ur suddenly stuck in traffic jam+salah jalan+sesat..

take a joyride perhaps this weekend..hmm..not a bad idea..

Its a 4 day weekend, so for those working away from home, or havent been home in a while, its a time to travel back to their hometown..lepas rindu kat katil sendiri and makan free+sedap kat rumah..hahaha

Teringat zaman skolah rendah dulu, pantang cuti je, balik kampung (in Kelantan in case ur wondering)..distinctively remembering that i like going back because it was different..and because the 8 hour drive back was entertaining..
We use to have this cassette (some youngsters nowadays dont even know what a cassette is) of the late Sudirman..we would listen to it, over and over all the way to kelantan..

the classic

"Balik kampung, wo 0h oh balik kampung!!"

and theres this one song about the alphabet..i forgot what it was called..but we sang our hearts out!!!

now it seems, like we jarang balik Kg..its the grandparents yang come to the city during breaks..huhu, udah terbalik..

i for one, have turned into someone who has very low tolerance for long rides bek to kg..;p
8 hours seems like forever..aih..
I want to balik kg, dont get me wrong, but id rather it not be by car, if flight ke ok sket..cepat..

gler demanding!!..

yeah, mebe i am kinda demanding..hahahahaha

nanti, when i have kids..time cuti2, balik kampung kire will be in Subang it seems, this will be my kids kampung..kan?

different to the kampung vision i had, but hey, times are a changing i guess..


got three more days of golek2..its been a while since i had a good sit down with some buddies..

so, with a lot of my money spent...how do i feel?....

must say, feeling very happy..finally..its been a long long wait..

it has been months of looking thru the net for reviews...rummaging through forums for opinions..hours spent at shopping malls asking the kedai this and that...even went to Youtube to look at reviews....
yes..this wasnt a decision made on a whim...its weeks of browsing and reasearh..so much so that if i was in the field of medicine..i could've found the cure for the common cold or something like that...

before i was into only post processing, mostly with other people's shot and pictures..
then the need to process my own work was aroused..why? because i find that to stave of the urge to do some serious photoshop-ing, i need to take my own set of photos, and work on them, rather than wait for others...

so here are some few shot taken with my new cammy, and please be gentle as they are only test shots done at home..

Just my humble opinion...

I'd like to mention here, that before one would buy items of great value, or items that would cost a lot of one's money...it would be best not to rush things..take it slow...think it through..do some research...avoid going to the shop and buy on impulse..most often than not, u'll end up regretting it because it wasnt what u hoped for or u were just swept away by the moment..shopkeepers have a way of making u feel that ure making the right choice then and there..

Electronics for the most part has tons of reviews on the internet..so do ur homework..or ull end up with a gadget u regret owning..

Are we better off from when we were 20-30 years ago? herm..tu tak pasti, tapi the thing i noticed is that teknologi makin modern, even nama2 pon dah modern...perempuan dgn nama seperti Honey, Sarah, atau nama melayu tetapi diselitkan bunyi2 nama omputih seperti Susan Isyah (takde kaitan dgn yang hidup mahu yang telah mati)..lelaki dgn nama2 seperti Danial, Romeo dan lagi nama2 yang aku juga rasa mcm kool bile sebut...

kemana hilang nama2 klasik melayu, nama2 yang nostalgic mengingatkan kita akan zaman2 kegemilangan filem2 melayu dan zaman dimana lagu2 yang dinyanyikan lembut gemalai..bukan dipengruhi hip hop mahupun trip hop..

zaman dahulu kala dimana pakcik2 yang botak masih memiliki rambut afro bulat, dan makcik2 suke memakai rambut tinggi seperti Marge Simpson...

zaman dimana orang lelaki sluar ketat sampai nampak ba*ls adalah normal,
zaman cermin mata besar mcm goggle scubadiving adalah trend..
zaman tiada henpon untuk miskol2 awek nak ajak dating..

slalu time skolah rendah, ble baca buku teks Bahasa Melayu, ade nama Ali atau Abu...

kemana semua Ali2 dan Abu2 sudah pergi?

today i have obtained an item, a piece of technology that i think has potential to create art...
and to commemorate the advancement of technology to which has robbed me of my savings, and at the same time tidak lupa akan zaman2 klasik Malaysia dahulu, i have given this piece of technology a name..

Typical weekday

6:15 wake up and ready2 for work..

6:45 off to work, go out early because want to huge traffic jam....its a nightmare to exit Subang during rush hours..(-_-")...make more roads out please MPSJ!!!!

7:20 reach opis, see if pintu opis bukak or not, if not open, sambung sleep inside the car..i need all the rest i can get.

8:00 most probably already at my desk, turns on computer and then make myself a cuppa neskepe..for safety reasons...im hazardous without caffeine..

8:30 start working...start here means panas2 enjin..;p

9:00-18:30 working hours..waktu balik 18:30 seems just like a suggestion sometimes..balik lagi lambat padahal...im an intern not a full time employee fer pete sake!!! pay me more if u want me to do work until malam..;p..not professional i know, but hey..wont hurt to demand kan? hahahaha

20:00 reach home, tired..mandi2 and dinner...cek2 tenet for any gadget news

22:00 head starts to get heavy...mind restless..pakse my sis to pijak blakang....;p

23:00 prolly have dozed off on the couch...with my cellphone dangling..my tolerance of late night stay up has decreased...now is that a good thing?


if this is a taste on what an engineer life would be...honestly, id have to say...pretty boring....
all the time u have to urself are the weekends, tu pon if they dont call u to work then too...ngaaaa

Wondering if more is on the way..

First of all,

Time kasih kepada kerajaan kerana memberi angpow lebey tahun nih~ akhirnya, its been a long thing coming!!! and all at a time when we needed u most Malaysia!! wee~~

Still, is this all we are getting? 0_o?

I quote from the text of the speech given by our Prime Minister

"Peningkatan elaun tersebut adalah di antara 23 peratus sehingga 84 peratus. Kadar baru ini berkuatkuasa mulai semester pertama sesi 2007"


mulai sesi 2007 means that it backdates to semester jan 07..so the amount yang dapat nih is already terkumpul? or is it just for the Jan 2008 semester?

if it is terkumpul, than it is clear yang kenaikan for us is the minimum of only 23%...maybe sbb kite IPTS and also sbb the campus is located luar bandar..who knows..

if its for the Jan 2008 semester only and more is on the way..then whoa...im a happy man!!!

so, its not as much as id hope..but bersyukur..takdelah sempit hidup nih, bertemankan air liur sahaja apabila ke kedai..;p
